Rails to Trails: A Journey to Wellbeing

Welcome to our new series of wellbeing walks, Rails to Trails! These walks are designed to promote physical health, mental wellness, and community by connecting iconic train stations and beautiful walking trails. Each walk is tailored to meet the unique needs of different groups within our community. Join us on these special dates:

Men’s Walk

Next walk: 23rd September

Time: 9:50am – 1:00pm

Location: Great Orme and Happy Valley – Llandudno Train Station

Description: This walk is dedicated to men of all ages who are looking to improve their well being through physical activity and camaraderie. Enjoy a scenic route, engage in meaningful conversations, and build lasting friendships.

Walk for Women who have experienced Menopause

Starting: 27th September

Time: 10:00am – 2:00pm

Location: Treasure Trail – Llandudno Train Station

Description: This walk is specifically for women who are navigating the challenges of menopause. Connect with others who understand your journey, share experiences, and find support in a nurturing environment. The trail offers a peaceful setting to relax and rejuvenate.

Youth Walk

Starting: 24th September

Time: 10:00am – 2:15pm

Location: Pensychnant Nature Reserve (pick up at Conwy Station)

Description: Aimed at young people aged 18 – 24, this walk encourages the youth to step away from their screens and immerse themselves in nature. It’s a great opportunity to make new friends, learn about the environment, and develop healthy habits that will last a lifetime.
