What is Supported Self Help

Supported Self Help is a free six session programme designed to help you better understand your current situation and feel more able to manage your thoughts and feelings through coping strategies that help you better manage your situation.

How does Supported Self Help work?

You will be supported through the course by one of our friendly practitioners. The first session will be a chance to talk through your needs and see if Supported Self Help is for you, deciding on one of the following pathways.

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Self-esteem
  • Stress
  • Feeling alone
  • Managing anger
  • Grief and loss

Each week your practitioner will call to check in and give you support and guidance. They will discuss your progress and how things are going and will send information and workbooks, either in the post or by email, so you have all the tools and tips you need.
