Mental Elf 2024!
Help us champion mental ‘elf in Conwy!
Your support this winter will raise vital funds for life-changing phone support, community groups, and youth sessions.
Last year, 220 amazing elves stepped up in Colwyn Bay to champion mental health services across Conwy. This winter, the elves are officially on the loose right across the county!
Instead of gathering in one place, we’re asking our elves to spread the mental ‘elf message far and wide anywhere and everywhere in Conwy – to bring our community together and help power our collective Race to the North Pole, 2600 miles from Conwy.
Every activity adds to our miles. Every £1 moves us closer to our target of £2600.
The Route
Don’t be fooled by the word run – you’re welcome to walk, jog, or skip your way around the course, making it perfect for all ages and abilities. We’ll start on the athletics track at Stadiwm Eirias, before heading past the tennis centre and out onto the beautiful Colwyn Bay Promenade. Our cheerful elves will travel west along the prom, turn around opposite The Toad, and make their way back to a festive finish on the Stadiwm CSM track.
Fundraising
This is our biggest Christmas fundraising event – and every pound raised helps Conwy Mind support local mental health. We’d love for as many participants as possible to get sponsored, and there’ll be special prizes for our top fundraisers (details coming soon!).
Every participant will receive a medal and a goody bag as a thank-you for taking part – so pull on your elf hat, gather your friends and family, and join us for a festive 5K full of fun, fresh air, and Christmas cheer!
Tickets
General tickets will then be on sale until the day before the event.
Tickets will also be available to purchase at the event.
General release prices are as follows:
Adult (16+): £18
Child (5-15): £14
Under 5s: Free
