Get ready to jingle and jog at our festive 5K fun run! We know, we know – it might feel a bit early for Christmas, but we couldn’t wait to share the news! Join us on December 1st at Stadiwm CSM in Colwyn Bay for a day of fun, laughter, and fundraising to support mental health in Conwy.
Last year’s Mental Elf was a magical success, raising an incredible £8,500 for Conwy Mind! Can we make this Christmas even more special? Let’s aim to smash last year’s fundraising total!
We’re thrilled to announce that Jennings is back as our lead sponsor! Thanks to their generous support, 100% of the money raised will go directly to Conwy Mind which supports the free services we provide to those struggling in our local area.
Mental Elf is a 5k fun run, but don’t let the word run put you off, you can of course walk the route which makes it perfect for all ages to join in! The run will begin around the athletics track at Stadiwm CSM before heading down past the tennis centre onto Colwyn Bay Promenade. Our elves will then head West along the prom and turn around opposite The Toad to head back to the finish festive finish line on the Stadiwm CSM athletics track!
Although fundraising isn’t compulsory for participants we’re hoping as it’s our major fundraising event for Christmas that many of you will join us in raising much needed funds for Conwy Mind! For anyone who raises £30 or more you will receive a festive Seren the Seal keyring!
All participants taking part in the Mental Elf 5k will receive a medal and goody bag!
To grow Mental Elf and make it even more inclusive to everyone we will also be introducing a Mini Mental Elf run! This route will be one mile which makes it perfect for youngsters or anyone who fancies a shorter route. For any children, they’re able to be accompanied by one adult free of charge.
