Computerised Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CCBT)
We offer Computerised Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CCBT) – an online guided self help course.
What is CCBT?
CCBT stands for Computerised Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and is CBT accessed online as a guided self help programme. CBT looks at how our thoughts, emotions, physical sensations and behaviour are all connected to help you better understand your current situation and to develop skills to change this.
How does it work?
Over twelve weeks you will work through nine self help ebooklets with the support of one of our friendly practitioners. Every two weeks you will receive a check-in call to see how you’re doing and to talk through what you’ve learnt. You will work together to set goals and between sessions complete tasks included in the booklets.
Topics covered include:
• Understanding anxiety
• Changing ourselves
• Relaxation
• Difficult thoughts
• Difficult feelings
• Problem solving
• Staying well
Is Computerised CBT for me?
If you are 18 years or over, live in Conwy County and are experiencing anxiety, low mood or stress then CCBT could be for you. You will need to be comfortable goal setting, completing tasks and prefer to work independently with less interaction than our groups or counselling.
