Plaster Casting

Join us for a FREE ‘Art for Wellbeing’ session at Mostyn Gallery on Friday 3rd March from 11:30am – 1pm

Plaster is a multipurpose material many artists use to create works of art. The participants will experiment with plaster, creating molds out of clay and cardboard and using plaster to create casts. The participants will explore sculpting and forming three dimensional works of art through the different techniques they will learn in the workshop. They will focus on how certain impressions in the clay can create interesting effects and how these imprints can form fascinating works of art.
